Life isn’t about what our special kids can’t do, it’s about showing others what ...THEY can do. They show us that we have more patience than we could ever imagine, more love than we thought possible, and how to fight for those without a voice. They open doors, make friends, showing others how to love.

Kiley's Promise of Hope

Kiley's Promise of Hope is in the process of becoming a 501 (c) (3)  non profit organization that wants to help spread awareness about congenital heart defects and feeding tubes. I have started making personalized tote bags and delivering them to St. Louis Children's Hospital and Mercy + to be given to families when their child has just had a gastrostomy tube placed or heart surgery.

Stuff you will find in the tote bag for the parents include a journal, word find book, pen and pencil, kleenex, hand sanitizer, tooth brush kit, button beauties, and a list of resources which will include useful information and web sites.

Stuff included in the tote bag for the kids include a coloring book and colors, books, and either a Heart Friend or a Tubie Friend.

If you would like to request a Heart Friend for your child or you have any questions please email me at nderousse@yahoo.com
